Day Seven - A ship worthy of a Queen [August 27, 2004]

Total Miles: 195 (approx) on I-405/I-5

Both of us were sad to call an end to a memorable trip but not without visiting the Queen Mary in Long Beach.


We were a little hesitant to pay $28 for the tour of an old cruise ship but the high price tag was well worth it. We spent the whole day on the cruise ship that included many tours, exhibits and even a theme-ride.


A side attraction (also included in the package) was the Russian submarine Scorpion.
Visting Queen Mary marked a grand ending to our incredible road trip and we were glad we could do it for our Wedding anniversary.
Started driving north towards home around 5pm until we decided to rest for the night at Coalinga.
